Does Finasteride Affect Fertility?

Question: I am thinking to use More F 5% for my baldness problem. I want to know is there any effect on reproductive system or not?? becoz we are going to have a child
Brief Answer:
the absorption of topical finasteride is highly insignificant
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com. I have read your query. I understand your concern.
A combination of topical minoxidil 5 percent lotion and finasteride is considered as a very good treatment for treatment of Patterned Male Baldness.
The absorption of topical finasteride is so less that it does not cause any change in levels of testosterone or Di hydro testosterone in serum. So in short absorption is highly insignificant to affect reproductive system. However if really concerned, you may plan to start topical minoxidil as of now and may start combination afterwards.
I hope it helps.
Stay healthy.
