Question : doe's a heart problem cause a series of terrible charley horses in my right calf?
Brief Answer:
Not related.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
These muscular cramps are unrelated to your heart problem.
In case you are taking a diuretic for heart problems, that might cause hyponatremia and muscular cramps, but they usually occur in both legs.
They are totally otherwise unrelated to heart problems.
Infact, a calf pain due to deep vein thrombosis might lead to pulmonary embolism and heart problems.
If you have any further query please ask me.
