Question : I am 66 yrs old, I started bleeding last night, I thought it was just hemrhoids, but I continued Bleeding today, Can I wait til tomorrow to see a doctor?

Hi my dear,

I understand your concern.

When you say bleeding, can you please give more details:
- location: anus or vagina?
- is it fresh blood?
- what about quantity?

If bleeding is from vagina immediate evaluation is required through a good clinical examination by og specialist and transvaginal ultrasound to see what happens.

In either case, you can wait until tomorrow to see your doctor unless bleeding is worse or you'll feel some unusual symptoms.

I think it is from my anus. Hard to tell. It is kind of heavy. And i have cramping.
