Question : Does herpes show on a biopsy of miscarriage tissue that's being checked for molar pregnancy
Brief Answer:
HPE of abortus cannot identify Herpes
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns.
Following is my reply:
1) Histopathology examination (HPE) will be done on the products of conception ( Miscarriage).
2) This can check abnormalities in the abortus and conditions like molar pregnancy can easily be identified.
3) Herpes zoster is a viral infection and not possible to identify by HPE method.
Let me know if you need anymore help.
