Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Ativan contains lorazepam. Its an acceptable option for anxiety disorders and treatment of insomnia in related disorders. 2 to 3 mg of Ativan can be taken 8 hourly. But be careful not to exceed the XXXXXXX dose of 10 mg per day.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks

I am having an issue...I took last night 1500mgs of neuron tin and 10mgs of ambient I was worried that I may have over dosed. I can't reach my psych doc today. i don't know what the right balance is. Should I do 900 mugs of neuron tin only with the ambient? I am just so confused. And I am desperate for sleep. Please advise.

Hello again
Neurontin dose can gradually be build up to 2400 mg per day in divided doses. But that is doe gradually. For now 300 tds (thrice a day) or 600 tds (thrice a day) can be maintained.
Both Ambien and Neurontin together don't have a significant drug interaction. So they can be taken safely, together. Ambien should be started at 5 mg initially. It may be increased to 10 mg if the response is inadequate.
