Brief Answer:
it is possible that it is related

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Augmentin can cause diarrhea like many antibiotics and can also cause blood to be present in the stool due to possible inflammation of the colon in some persons. This is inflammation is called colitis

Blood can have a black appearance in the stool if the source of the bleed is higher up in the colon because by the time the blood reaches to the end of the colon and is ready to be expelled, it changes appearance.

This means that it is possible that the augmentin is responsible though your doctor may want to assess you to rule out other causes.
He or she may also consider monitoring after medication stopped to see if the stool reverts to normal.

Your doctor may want to consider changing the medication to one that you can tolerate better.
Probiotics may help with the diarrhea by restoring the normal bacteria to the colon.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Brief Answer:
yes can be related

Detailed Answer:
HI

Yes, the antibiotic can cause this

If the diarrhea is very bothersome, you can speak to your doctor and he or she can change the medication to another one.

If it is related to the antibiotic then it would stop 2 to 3 after the antibiotic is stopped.
