Brief Answer:
Hi I would recommend the following.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Thank your for your query and welcome to HealthcareMagic.

Banocide is an antihelminthic drug that contains Diethylcarbamazine. This drug is used to treat filarial infection and few other parasite infections like tropical pulmonary eosinophilia. These infections specifically cause eosinophilia (increase the eosinophil count in blood). So if the eosinophilia is due to filarial infection or due to tropical eosinophilia it will be most likely be corrected.

There are other causes of eosinophilia too like other parasitic infections, Steroids use and few other inherent blood conditions. For them different treatment approaches are needed.

I hope this helps sir.
Please let me know if you have any other concern or question sir and I will try my best to answer that.
Sincerely,
Dr Parth Desai
