Question : I have two leg ulcers which my GP is treating with ciprofloxacin. I have just receivef a letter from the health dept. informing me that I have MRSA. Is this antibiotic appropriate?

If the swab culture and positive for MRSA. Then ciprofloxacin would be a appropriate antibiotic. It is usually given for 3 months.
Along with this i suggest you to apply antiseptic wound dressing by your self daily. which will help in curing of ulcer
