Detailed Answer:
Metronidazole or Flagyl 500mg is usually not useful in epididymitis. You are more likely to have benefit with use of drugs like Ciprofloxacin 500mg twice daily for a week. Ensure your sctotum is supported at all times. Ensure you have no urine tract infection or obstruction which often is the source of epididymitis.
