The drug modafinil is a medicine more commonly used in drowsy people to make them more alert.
The side effect of delirium is possible.
I assume you want something to improve memory.
I would suggest Donepezil instead to that end.
A short course of cerebrolysin would help. But it's an iv preparation and so needs admission to a hospital.
