                                            Question : Hello,
My husband has an uncleared vasectomy and accidently ejaculated into me and therefore I had to take the Plan B, emergency contraceptive which has a high dose of hormones about 3 weeks ago. Last week I went for my routine yearly bloodwork with my primary doc. I am waiting for the results but it just occurred to me that this pill may screw with my results. Would this type of contraceptive give me some sort of incorrect results with routine blood work (ie. hemoglobin, thyroid, etc etc)
Thank you XXXXXXX

                                    Brief Answer:
NO, this is very unlikely!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this accidental ejaculation during this encounter. I am glad he has taken a major step and there will be little to bother about in the near future. Plan B cannot screw up your laboratory results. Be relaxed and when the results are back, you will confirm this. If there is any problem with the results, upload them to me for an independent review as well.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
