Question: Can I use Targin 10mg/5mg if I have Diverticular disease? I have terrible arthritis through my body and panadol osteo doesn't do much to relieve it

I read your question and i understand your concern. Targiniq is an opioid analgesic od oxycodone plus nalaxone. It can be used for chronic pain but i recommend NSAIDs like piroxicam, diclofenac sodium, simole ibuprofen etc. As targiniq will slow your bowel movements and worsen diverticulitis and does not have better anti inflammatory effect compared to NSAIDs.
But still your doctor may weight the pros and cons to you. Talk to your pain management expert and let them help you in this regard.
