Question : Hello, me & my partner are trying for baby the last 4 months but without success. We are both 26 years old and healthy. I have PCOS but my period is regular every 26 days and my doctor told me that I develop mature follicles and I have normal ovulation. However, the last three months we had intercourse only one time during the 3-4 days prior to ovulation, never more than one. Is it possible that this might be the problem? Does having intercourse only once lowers your conception chances?

Hi,

You are right.

Having intercourse only once lowers chances.

If you have 26 days cycle, your ovulation will approximately be around 12th day of cycle.

It is advisable to have sexual intercourse between Day 11 to day 17 everyday. This improves pregnancy chances.
