Question : If a newborn has jaundice for 7 days, 6 weeks now recovered...... Could this affect a slower weight gain than normal? Infant is alert, responsive and quite physically active.

Can understand your concerns.

Jaundice in first 7 days of life will not affect the weight gain in child.
Weight gain is related to adequate feeding.
Give exclusive breastfeeding till 6 months of age.
