Does Localized Pain Above The Elbow Suggest Fracture?

Question: I was riding a skateboard today and I fell off landing slightly hard on my left elbow. I have no problems using my left hand i.e, facing palm up and palm down, closing my hand, moving my wrist in a circle. But my pain is located when i bend my arm past 90 degrees, Id say at about 110 or 120 degrres the pain starts. Then when i straighten my arm to about 175 degrees then the pain starts again, no pain in between. There has been some swelling, but I think i minimized it fairly well by application of cold through ice on my elbow. Additionally, when I touch a certain area underneath my elbow about an inch or two below my elbow bone, It almost feels like a bruise would on my skin. I've had a broken wrist before and this doesn't feel like a broken bone because i can still do most things I could do before i fell besides lift heavy objects or bend my arm fully. I think it could be a bone bruise but also want to make sure its not a fracture. This accident happened today and the pain is very localized above and below my elbow. Any thoughts?
Brief answer...unlikely to be a fracture but better to get an X ray done.
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Going by your symptoms and history,it is unlikely to be fracture but it would still be better to get an X ray done to rule it out.
Keep icing the area and take ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day for 5-7 days.
Avoid lifting weights.
You should be completely all right in next 2 weeks if no fracture is found.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
