Question : In this hot summer, is it safe to use fan in baby room where mom and baby(1.5 months old) sleep?

You can use fan safely in your room. There is no harm in using fan with or without AC for a small baby.
You can slow down the speed of fan during morning hours if weather gets colder.
Keep baby covered with light cotton cloths.
There is no such effect of food consumed by mother which can effect baby's temperature. But it's better for the mother to keep her hydrated well by consuming enough water during summer season particularly when she is breastfeeding the baby.
