Both Naproxen sulfate and ibuprofen affect kidney and have no significant effect on normal liver. However both naproxen and ibuprofen are both same class of medicine belonging to non-steroid anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) - it can have additive effects.
Therefore it would be better to avoid one of the two drugs.
