Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be Optic Neuritis

Detailed Answer:
Hello

My name is Dr Muhammad Ali Rauf & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. Your symptoms are unlikely to suggest optic neuritis. There are a number of causes for your symptoms and most common include:
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Prolonged focusing on tv, laptop, etc
- Migraine headache

Macrobid is an antibiotic drug and does not show adverse effect of optic neuritis as well specially if its for one week use. I would suggest you to relax, take adequate 7-8 hrs sleep/day and use artificial tears to moisten your eye for a week. Hopefully it will resolve your complaint.

In case your symptoms persists then i would suggest you to visit hospital & get an appointment for a consultant Ophthalmologist for detailed examination & visual workup to see if there is any pathology.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!

Brief Answer:
Almost "nil" chances

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for the follow-up query.

Chances of neuritis like this are almost "Nil". I would suggest you to relax because stress/anxiety almost always exaggerates a problem. By taking above mentioned care you will hopefully recover in few days.
