Does Ovarian Cyst Lead To Weight Gain, Hairloss And Dandruff?
Question: I discovered recently, i have ovarian cyst. Can it be the reason behind my weight gain, hair loss and dandruff?

As such, an ovarian cyst cannot cause any of these symptoms.
However, there is another entity called polycystic ovaries.
In this condition, it is not a single mass or cyst in the ovary, but the ovary is studded with small egg follicles which look like small cysts.
This condition is associated with hair loss and weight gain, not dandruff however.
What is your height and weight exactly?
Are your cycles regular?
You need to give me details of the ovarian cyst - there are countless varieties.
Can you upload the tests which diagnosed the cyst?
Dandruff itself can lead to hair loss.
Dandruff is a fungal infection of the scalp, worsened by dryness and cold weather.
You should oil the scalp regularly, and wash it the next day.
Ketoconazole shampoo can be used after confirming the diagnosis with consultation with a Dermatologist.
For weight gain, you need to regulate your diet (consult a Dietician) and exercise daily with a personal Trainer.
