Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Your CT is fine and does not indicate any issue. Omentum torsion should be visible in CT, so this rules it out.
Omental torsion is a very rare condition. As omentum is build of fatty tissue which generally is not important for proper bowels function, there can be no symptoms of such issue or the symptoms are very nonspecific. It can be appendicitis like symptoms including fever, abdominal pain, nausea, general illness. If the omentum torsion appears, the pain can be present for a while and then disappear. It all depends how large is the omentum ischemia. Omentum torsion can lead to it necrosis. In such case, an abscess will appear in the abdominal cavity and general abdominal cavity infection symptoms can be present.
For sure the pain caused by omentum torsion is constant. The pain which comes and goes is usually caused by smooth muscles spasm (intestines or gallbladder for example).
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

Detailed Answer:
Yes, the pain would be constant. Can be severe in the beginning and should become mild after some time (day or two).
