Question : can continued use of Cialis cause constant upper leg pain?
Brief Answer:
yes
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
A common side effect of Cialis is muscle or back pain. If you are using it as a daily medicine and this pain has developed after you began using it then it is likely related. The only way to be sure is to stop the medication and see if the muscle pain goes away. If it does then the Cialis is probably the cause.
You could then try using it just on an as needed basis or ask your doctor to try prescribing a different medication for you.
I will tell you that muscle pain is a common side effect of all phosphodiesterase inhibitors like viagra or cialis, but another one may not cause the same problem for as the cialis.
I hope you get an answer and relief soon,

I've stopped using Cialis two months ago but the pain and cramps in my upper legs still persist on a daily basis. I've had my Ultrasound ABI and the results don't show anything remarkable, including no evidence of plaque or stenosis. The pain is always there, although it's heightened when I'm on an airplane for anything more than an hour and a half flight.
Brief Answer:
not likely from cialis
Detailed Answer:
If you have been off the medication for that long then the leg pains are not likely from the cialis. The next test I would suggest would be an MRI of the lumbar spine to see you you have disc disease or spinal stenosis causing the leg problems. You may also need to see a neurologist for nerve and/or muscle conduction studies.
