Does Removal Of IUD Help In Curing Neck Pain?

Question : I have an IUD question- thinking of having it removed due to several reasons and maybe it can help my neck pain. I had my first IUD placed in 2006. Kept that in until March 2014- had it removed and a new one place the same day. I had a spontaneouse spleen rupture April 2011. In 2012, I started having bilateral neck pain. I have a cervical rhizotomy in 2013 and 2014. I take Cymbalta, to help with the nerve pain. I am scheduled to have another rhizotomy in March. If removing the Mirena IUD will help, I will have it removed and NOT do the rhizotomy. It is not pleasant. Do you think removing it would help my neck pain? I have read other people stories about their pain disappearing or lessening. What are your thoughts?

Mirena is no way related to neck pain. Removal is not going to help in relief of neck pain.

I don't think you should remove mirena.
