Does Ribs Pushed Out Of Sternum Indicate Infantile Scoliosis?

Question: Would this resemble infantile scoliosis in a 5 month old? It runs in our family and when i mentioned it to the doctor - he said he really didn't see a curve. The curve seems to be to the left and the right anterior ribs are pushed out in the lower sternum area but they seem to curve in and under around the 7th rib. Left side seems normal.
Brief Answer:
I would recommend you to get x ray
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think there is slight curve present in her back. To confirm the diagnosis I would recommend you to get x ray of the spine. This x ray spine will confirm the diagnosis.
If there is curve in the spine than you need to show it to orthopedic surgeon . Baby might need a corrective brace to support the spine. If you want than you can share your x ray with me on their forum.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other follow up questions.
Thanks
