Question : i do unprotected sex 03/10/2014. correct 12 weeks i did test.27/12/2014. i will attach my test result also. this test accuracy. i am very anxiety. because some sites said need 6 months accurate result. my lab technician said this is 4th generation test.another one i take antibiotc ciprofloxacin 05/10/2015-10/102015 5 days. this antibiotics affect my test results. please doctor this test accuracry or need further test.

The chances of transmission of HIV by Unprotected intercourse wuth a positive woman is 1/200 to 1/1000.She may be negative too.
4th generation tests are accurate .They detect antibodies. Antibodies are formed if infected with HIV. They are usually formed by 2 to 12 weeks.
The test results are accurate after 12 weeks exposure .
Antibiotics do not affect the test results.Ciprofloxacin does not affect the results.

So you are free from HIV.
There is no need for further HIV tests.
So you can allay fears of HIV.

i search the google some sites said need 6 months in accurate result. so i iam very anxiety. also test result not mention which test are done. what is 0.37 value.
still i am doing protected sex with my wife. i am very anxiety. are you sure doctor ciprofloxacin anti biotic not affect my test results. sorry doctor. please help doctor.

Ciproflixacin or antibiotics does not affect test results.They do not act on HIV .

Antibodies will be formed by 3 months or 12 weeks.Rarely in immunosuppressed individuals antibodies may take up to 6 months to be formed.

0.37 value is just titre value it is not significant if negative. Do not worry about it.

12 weeks post exposure negative is considered conclusive.You are free from HIV.
You can lead a normal life.
You can allay fears of HIV.

thanks doctor. doctor said rarely in immunosuppressed individuals antibodies may take up to 6 months. so are you sure doctor in my case I am 100% hiv free. if you possible doctor please explain what is immunosuppressed individual antibodies . sorry doctor

thanks doctor. now 4 months finished. still I have not symptoms. only one day happened fever. small fever. only night time. when wake up morning its finish. but still I am little fear. I don't know doctor. only sleeping time will come bad minds. when I wakeup midnight after didn't sleep very well. what can I do doctor. are you sure doctor I am 100 % hiv free.
