Betnovate cream contains highly potent steroid and should not be used for treatment of pigmentation.

I normally recommend my patients to use cream containing combination of hydroquinone, mometasone and tretinoin on the affected skin at night in minute amounts. Many brands containing this combination are available.

This helps in removing pigmentation.
