                                            Question : I had undergone an Urine R/E test and an Ultrasound for lower abdomen and got the following results- Protein albumin +,puss cells >40/hpf, RBC 10-15/hpf,Bacteria +,Caloxalate +...The prostate is normal in size,parenchyma shows evidence of thick calcification.therefore kindly advice any further tests and medication to be taken

You seem to have URINARY TRACT INFECTION.
It needs confirmation by urine culture and sensitivity test of your mid-stream urine.
Then appropriate antibiotics can be given.
Calcification indicates long standing infection in the prostate. If your urine flow is less, kindly check the speed of urine flow by UROFLOW.
Then appropriate advice can be given.
Calcification by itself does not need any specific treatment.
