Dr. Shinas XXXXXXX Have Not Experienced Any New Places, Although

Question: Dr. Shinas XXXXXXX
Have not experienced any new places, although on my left thumb where i experienced the most recent episode i do still have swelling in the joint at the base of my thumb also still have a great sensitivity in the skin on top of my thumb. The skin has healed where practically my whole thumb peeled just like a sunburn i guess from where it had fever and it is still red. I just think it is taking a LONG time to go away.......although i never physically went to a doctor and did not receive antibiotics as you recommended. And i could not find a way to attach a photolast month but this is what it looks like today

Brief Answer:
It is in the healing.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through the picture.
It looks like healing and there is no obvious signs if infection or pus collection.
The minor swelling and sensation are common in the healing phase.
You can wait couple of weeks.
Do not trim your nails too short as it will worsen the symptoms.
As of now no definite treatment is required.
