Question: I have several dry flaky patches between my nose and lips. They are not red and don't itch but they look bad. If I pull them off they come back within a few days. Exfoliation and moisturizers only work temporarily What is it and how do I get rid of it?

Hello and thanks for your query.

I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.

Peeling of the skin is a reported side effect of Losartan that you are on.
Amlodipine is safe in this respect.

As you cannot discontinue medications without informing your doctor, talk with him regarding this. I usually change the drug of the same class for my patients depending on the case. Your doctor should be handling changes as necessary for you. And this should subside eventually.

Let me know if I have missed out any other concern in your question.

Yet again, I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that you have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.

Sincerely,
