Yes doctors write prescription for VIAGRA but after proper evaluation of erectile dysfunction.

There can be various situations which can lead to erectile dysfunction like
Hypertension
Hypercholestrolemia
Diabetes

Various medications like anti depressants and antihypertensives like beta blockers and diuretics
Substance abuse like alcohol,cocaine,steroids etc

If a person has high blood pressure then he must control his blood pressure and take clearance from is cardiologist before taking VIAGRA

Make sure that you never take nitrates with VIAGRA ad it can cause serious drop in the blood pressure
