Question : Hello, my wife had her period this month 5days before and she always used to have her period on date.This time she experienced a lot of pain but not severe and first 10 hour only spot of blood after that heavy flow with blood clot its around 3days but experiencing heavy flow mainly in 2 days flow used to stop. Hopinv for favorable response.

If you have mentioned the age of your wife, obstetric history and any history of usage of contraception more accurate answer might have been possible.
Anyhow usually menstrual cycles with the length of 21 to 35 days can be considered as normal only.
And also minor fluctuations in the menstrual cycle and flow can also be seen due to different causes, among them heavy flow with pain abdomen can be seen due to structural causes like fibroid uterus, adenomyosis, pelvic infection etc.
Other general causes of fluctuations in menstrual cycles are psychological factors like stress and strain, changes in diet, sleep, weight, etc., general conditions like anemia, thyroid hormone abnormalities, etc.
So, as your wife still having heavy flow with pain, better to consult your Gynecologist once. By clinical examination and ultrasound the possible cause of the problem can be identified.
If any specific problem noted on clinical examination or on ultrasound she may need treatment pointing towards that.
If everything is normal on examination and ultrasound she can take symptomatic treatment to control the bleeding and pain with your doctor's advice.
Then she can watch next menstrual cycles if they come in at regular intervals with normal flow she may not need further evaluation.
