Question : For the past week, I have experienced a reddish-brown stool that is somewhat looser than usual, and that has an unusually sharp order. I have history of 'internal' hemorrhoids, which used to cause bright red discharges when my blood pressure became elevated. But this has not occurred for four or five years now.

Hi
Thanks for posting your query
Your information is suggestive of collitis
It is advisable you go for a stool examination
If there are pus cells go for a culture report
Take antibiotic as per sensitivity report

In the mean time take lot of fluids
