Question : Experiencing itching overall, most troublesome on head and arms (no visual symptoms) and general achy muscles. Symptoms have been strong for 3 weeks. No fever. Achiness has been on and off since early Feb. Itching has been off and on since appendicitis surgery in Nov. Taking B12 and D pills since blood test show deficiencies there.

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

As per your history, it may be hepatitis. Kindly attach blood investigations reports including liver function test, complete haemogram, TSH.

Please let me know do you have abdominal pain, decreased appetite, yellow eyes, dark urine, pale stool?
Do you have allergy to any food or medications?

For that I would suggest you to apply hydrocortisone ointment three times a day locally and tab. claritine 10 mg once a day with tab. motrin 400 mg every 6 hourly. These medications should be available over the counter.

Avoid harsh cosmetic products, soap. You can apply moisturizing lotion alternately. Use anti dandruff shampoo.
