Question : hi doctor am a lady aged 29yrs, my problem is that for the last five months i have been experiencing painful monthly periods my abdomen hurts alot i cnnot even stand upright.have gone for medication what am given is only pain killers.this is worrying me alot. coz the pains are too much.help

Menstural cramp is very normal phenomenon but incase of unbearable pain I would recommend a scan to rule out endometriosis, pcod and fibroids which could cause severe menstrual cramps.
