Eye Has Become Red, Pain And Irritation. Using Cipla Ciplox Ciprofloxacin Eye Drops. Advise?

Question : Hi, my name is Srikanth. My right eye has become red lately. It has been like this from last two days. Wednesday (05-June-2013) night when I was going to sleep both the eyes were fine. Thursday day morning my right eye became red with little irritation. Now I feel very very little irritation/pain, only when I consciously think of my eye. I am using cipla ciplox CIPROFLOXACIN EYE/EAR drops from last two days. Do you suggest me to consult an eye specialist or will it go in couple of days with the eye drops. I am attaching photos of my eye with this query. Thank you in advance for your advice.

Thanks for sending your query to us.
This if you notice is a sectorial congestion.The redness is confined to the middle and lower part of the eye ball.
In such cases along with what you are using there is a variant with dexamethasone also and in our practice we have found to be very quick in showing good recovery.
So the new ciprofloxin with dexamethasone eye drop put in 4 to 5 times a day will do the trick for you .
