Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for posting your query to healcaremagic platform. I am trying to solve your problem.

As per information, you are suffering from irregular period in between 18-40 days duration for last one year.

First of all, your blood reports are within normal range except hemoglobin level (9.7 gm%) which indicates mild anemia.

Other co-existence factors for irregular period are ovarian cyst, stress/ anxiety/ mental upset/ depression, irregular diet habit, over weight/ rapid loss, excessive physical exercise, hormonal imbalance, using birth control pill, certain medication pelvic infection etc.

Here, you may need to undergo some investigations to pin point the diagnosis like one pelvic ultrasound scan, complete hormone assay ( progesterone, LH & FSH), blood sugar, endometrial tissue biopsy etc.

Proper treatment depends on underlying causative factor. Therefore, I suggest you to consult with gynecologist regarding this for physical/ pelvic examination and take suggestive measures according to test reports.

In this scenario, cyclic hormonal therapy with progesterone only or combined OCP ( 3 weeks on for 21 tabs and 1 week off to get period) is the gold standard treatment to regularize your period.

Following measures can improve your presenting condition:

1) Take balanced diet with Iron (like Dexorange cap) & vitamin supplements. Drink more water or fluids. Eat more carotene based vegetables & fresh fruits.
2) Control body weight by regular light physical exercise. It helps to improve body circulation and normal fitness.
3) Try to avoid stress/ tension/ anxiety by regular yoga and deep breathing exercise.
4) Maintain personal hygiene & take a sound sleep with complete relaxation.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
