Hi.

Thank you for your query.

The difficulty in breathing that you experienced first was due to a vagal reflex. Right now, if you do not have any difficulty in breathing it means that we can rule out fractures. The pain that you experience after sneezing could be due to the pressure on the muscles and/or ligaments of the rig cage due to the sudden expansion of the lungs during sneezing.

The good news is that this should subside soon. If this pain lasts for more than a week (7 days), you could consult a doctor for the same. In my opinion, you should be fine in a few days.

I hope I have succeeded in providing you with information that you were looking for. Feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications.

Wishing you a speedy recovery and good health thereafter.
Best wishes.

Hi. Thank you for your response.

I doubt the nose block to be connected to your fall. This along with your sneezing could purely be either a hypersensitivity reaction (allergy) or an infection (you will have to visit a doctor to rule out/diagnose an infection and get treated accordingly). Please also visit a doctor if you experience a fever.

It is great news that your breathing is not affected. I am sure your complaints of pain after sneezing should soon subside.

Do write back to me for any further clarifications. Get well soon.
Best wishes.
