1. Is it a possible side effect of Parkinson's? I have mild Parkinson's for which I am taking Madopar 750 mg a day and Sifrol 2 x day.
2. Could it be a side effect of a medicine? But I am not taking anything new.
3. Would a regular hot or cold compress ease the pain?

Exercising, stretching us needed before increasing medications dosage.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
I think that the pain you are having on shoulder and knee may be related to Parkinson's disease. I think it is musculoskeletal pain made worse from Parkinson . Rigidity and stiffness from Parkinson contributes to increase the pain.
I can recommend you to continue exercising and especially stretching.
I don't think the pain is caused by any medications you are taking.
Some medications you are taking such Lyrica, celebrex and medopar may contribute to lower the pain.
Try exercising and stretching firstly and if the pain persists you may need to increase medications dosage.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
