Question : For the last nine days I have fever, mostly low , but right now it’s 100.4. That’s quite high for me, since most of the time I’m around 97. I did see my GP 7 days ago and yesterday. On both occasions he took blood and X-rays. Everything was normal. Initially, he thought it was bacterial and put me on an AB. Since I still had fever with only one more day of the AB left, he thought it was a virus, but not Coronavirus, I guess based on my normal blood results and normal X-ray, and no coughing. He said a virus can take about 10 days to resolve. 5 years ago I was diagnosed asthma, but have never an inhaler. For the last three years I have had an occasional SOB, but it has been very manageable. Also my O2 saturation is usually 96 to 99%. Should I be concerned with Covid 19?

Thank you, however, the SOB was bad last night and I did feel some discomfit in the upper chest. My breathing right now (shortly after waking up) is just ok. My temperature upon awakening was 99, but my O2 level was still good.
Also, if it's not Corona but some other virus, how long could it take for a typical virus to resolve? Today is day 10 of elevated temperature.
Thank you.

Yes, I have been to my GP twice in the last week. He did a CBC and other blood markers along with a chest X-ray both times. All looked normal and he assured me it’s not Corona. But you answered my main question, and that was how long could a virus take to resolve? This is only day 10 and you mentioned it could take 3 weeks. So it’s possible I could have this for another week and a half. I was just concerned that it has taken this long.
