Question : For two days I saw a tiny (almost not even noticable) streak of blood when wiping after I had a normal bowel movement (the bowel movement easily passed and was normal). Then today I saw a tiny bit of blood mixed in with my stool. When I look at my anus I can see that I have an external hemmroid but its defintely not bleeding (totally intact) and i havent been straining or constipaued so does this automatically mean I have cancer since it cant be the bleeding from the hemmroid? -also the blood was mixed in the piece of stool not in the toliet or on the toliet paper or could it be something else? I have an appointment Tuesday, but am scared and want to know.

                                    Brief Answer:
Probably internal hemirrhoids
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to our service.
These symptoms are most commonly sign of internal hemorrhoids, anal fissure or angiodyspasie so some more serious issues are last thing to think about, especially in your age. However, you should do stool occult bleeding test and check CEA marker just to see if colonoscopy is required. But It is always possible that new poylp developed, so i suggest to do colonoscopy no matter what these finding show, and it ease your minds and rule out any serious issue. Wish you good health. Regards
