Question : Found brown flakes in urine yesterday. I’ve felt urge to urinate since October; tested neg for UTI 4x, positive once. Six urine tests had no hematuria, one dipstick test did. I’m a 54-year-old woman, non smoker.

Hi Proofpro,

It is difficult to say what the cause of your symptoms are. However, with changes in the appearance of your urine, an urge to urinate and previous positive dipstick for blood, I would definitely recommend a computed tomography scan of your urinary system and a cystoscopy.
