Question : I have pain when I urinate & frequent urination. Dr ruled out uti, am I ok & stuck with this pain the rest of my life
Hi
I understand your query and worry.
Infection may be present, even if the urine culture test is negative.
You need an ultrasound scan to check for RESIDUAL URINE.
Then a course of antibiotics and if necessary anticholinergics ( to reduce the frequency) for 3 to 6 months would help, according to my assessment.
It is a treatable condition and there is nothing to worry.
Hope I answered. Kindly get back for doubts.
