Brief Answer: Probably indigestion, sugg.changins eating manners. Detailed Answer: Hi, Your symptoms are related to indigestion, for which many factors are to blame. The very first thing I recommend my patients with such problems are to improve their eating manners as following: - eat slowly, often and little portions - do chew the food slowly - avoid eating fatty, sugary, chillies or fried foods - avoid drinking alcohol or smoking - try not to lay down immediately after eating - can continue taking nexium, and add also domperidone (motilium) and simethicone. If no improvement, can consult a GI specialist to start the pancreatic enzymes and to do abdominal echo. Usually, my patients feel improved when such changes are implemented. Hope it helped answering your inquiries! Dr.Klerida p.s. if you have further concerns, do not hesitate to contact me.

Thks for ur reply. Jux to add on a little on my symptoms. Some days my tummy felt better. On other times there will be discomfort . It's intermittent. Certain times, I can expel gas normally . Sometimes it's jux stuck at my upper gut. It's on n off and I couldn't find an explanation to what I eat n avoid. I XXXXXXX eat junk food. However for the past 2 years I slept late at night ard 2am n wake up ard 12pm. N will only have my first meal ard 2pm. But now I had changed my lifestyle , i had a warm water with plain bread or cake as soon as I wake up n eat my lunch at a specific time. But little relief . Could it be gastritis .. ? If it's chronic then it's very difficult n long time to treat. I'm working overseas now n the medical services here aren't very reliable in my opinion. I would like to hear from u as much as possible before I head back home . Thank u . If there are questions u could ask me to help in your diagnosis, pls feel free to ask me... I appreciate that

Brief Answer: Please refer to the following suggestions.... Detailed Answer: Hi, In fact, there are some other questions I'd like to ask to you if I were your caring doctor: - have you noticed an un-explained weight loss recently? - have you experienced constipation or diarrhea? - have you had a tough period of time: too much work or stress overload? - is your working dealing mostly with less physical activity? - for how long have you experienced such problems? With regards to gastritis as diagnosis, your medical data go more for an acute condition rather than a chronic one as gastritis. And, it mostly goes for intolerance to the new food in that foreign country you have moved. While you are far distant from the place you live, I'd recommend to be careful with the food you are eating (as mentioned earlier) and to do more physical activity to help the bowel movements. I usually advise my patients in such situation of yours to have more yogurt, to take probiotics, simethicone and to continue using nexium. If no improvement, then, I'd recommend to do the tests of malabsorption/intolerance. Hope you are satisfied with my answer! If you have more questions, feel free to write me back! Dr.Klerida

Dear dr, I appreciate your reply . There was no weight loss. Bowel movement is normal I felt best after a nap or sleep. I have chronic stress I guess. I am a very type A personality person . Yes, my work don't require me to do lotsa physical activity. At most is to get busy walking around as a purchaser once every few days. I experienced these issue on an off for a year... Fortunately there wasn't really pain at the moment.. Jux extreme bloating n discomfort at the chest and upper abdomen area. When it get worse, laying down sort of ease the problem a little but once I'm up n moving the bloating wil slowly become more n more severe. When I'm nervous about it, my upper gut muscle seemed to tightened up n make it even worse. At times when my tummy feels ok, I will have the sensation of gas stuck at my lower throat when I'm hungry. After eating , the throat sensation goes away n my upper gut will be full of gas again.. Is very mental torturing ... And I will see the dr to get some medi to relief. As I mentioned the relief is little... As I'm oversea therefore I trusted is website to professionals like u. Thank u for your patience

Brief Answer: Chronic stress,bloating,discomfort.. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thank you for writing back. Your medical data are referring "bad" changes to your lifestyle and eating regimen - This could be a factor to your problems. - You are saying that are having a tough period of time - That could suggest a possible IBS. Try to cope with stress, can follow some stress-relieving techniques. However, you should run other tests to exclude probable organic problems before IBS is finally diagnosed. At the end, first, try to follow the advice on eating and lifestyle habits; and continue the medications suggested. When you go back to your hometown, you can do other investigative tests (fibrogastroscopy, abdominal echo, malapsorption tests, etc.). Wish you health! Dr.Klerida

Dear dr, thks for your reply. I jux saw the gastric yesday n was give mosapride citrate. I jux started on it but I felt little relief. Well i had tried nexium , osopremozle (pls excuse my spelling error) now mosapride. Fortunately there was no pain yet. Jux discomfort . Bloating on n off. N if I drink water, I will feel nausea. My appetite on n off. Bowel movement normal. I can't even smoke a cigarette after that I will feel even more gassy n gas stuck in throat . The more anxious I focus on it, the worse it seemed. I'm so afraid to do endoscope if that necessary , but if I XXXXXXX do it I can't rest my heart. But I hope I can recover so I XXXXXXX have to go thru scope thing. I'm taking regular meals n no junk food. That leads no lesser appetite. When I go no appetite, I will tell myself I can't leave my tummy empty n "force " to eat a little n that leads to even more bloating .. The cycle repeat itself. Thks for your kind patience n understanding. Hope u can give me a clearer pic of wat I shld do
