                                            Question : Good evening Dr,
Earlier this afternoon my 6 month old son was sleeping on my chest face up, where a beam of sunlight was reflecting off of my silver colored Jeep Grand XXXXXXX car right through my front window directly in my sons face. His eyes were closed because he was sleeping but could this direct sunlight (reflected off car) damage my sons eyes at all? I close my eyes and look up at sun and can see light penetrating through my eye lids. I’m very worried and i suffer from severe anxiety. I do not want my beautiful baby boy to injure his eyes at all.
Thanks!!!!

Could the sun effect a kids eye coming through the window while driving down a highway? My son today was in his car seat looking at the window with the sun beaming down on him, he was crying and morning and putting his hands up to his face. I was on highway and couldn’t do anything about it. It was 45 minutes of sun exposure. Should I be worried?

                                    He is 20 months old
And refuses to wear them. I’m nervous he has permanent retinal
Damage because of the incident driving in the car. Could he go blind from looking st sun or sunshine directly going into his eye?
