Question : Good evening,

I have been having kidney issues lately. My symptoms include:
Frequent urination and then immediately having to go again.
Burning while urinating
Left lower back pain

I did a virtual doctor visit 5 days ago and he prescribed me flomax, antibiotic and naproxen. My symptoms are still here and nothing seems to have worked. What could be the issue? I am a 34 year old man in great health aside from this.

Most likely to be due to stone in either Kidney or Ureter .

Thanks for query .

Based on the facts and symptoms that you have you seem to have a stone either in Kidney or Lower ureter and needs to be investigated .

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis

.Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

In the mean while continue medications prescribed by your family physician .
