Question : Good evening,
My 7 year old daughter is complaining about pain that starts at the base of the sternum and moves down her stomach and to the left? Please advise

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Pain in the upper Abdomen in the middle, below the Sternum is usually due to Gastritis or Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

I would like to know some information
1.whether she is taking any medicine for pains,fever etc?
2.Whether pain is associated with vomiting?
3.What is the relation between pain and Food ?
If possible,get an Ultrasound abdomen, Plain x Ray Abdomen in erect posture.
Till investigations,I prefer Antispasmodic tablet containing Dicyclomine and Rantidine tablet.
