Got Regular Ultrasound Done. What Does It Indicate?

Question: I got my ultrasound done as a regular medical check up ..Gall Bladder is Adequately Distended with No Calculus seen in Lumen..What does it means? I asked the doctor.he said its normal...I am just concerned that is it something to worry about?

Your reports are apparently normal

A well distended gall bladder is normal, what is more concerning is the excretion of bile

A normal ejection fraction can be evaluated with a HIDA scan

Just reassure yourself

This ultrasound was carried out after 2 hours of afternoon meal..i do not have any kind of abdomen pain .but i do suffer from constipation..so do i still need this HIDA scan?

I would suggest you wait if you have no other symptoms

For constipation you need to take plenty of fluids, fibers and may be Psyllumhusk two spoonfuls with glass of water at bed time
