Hi,

I understand your concerns,

Following is my reply:

1) Heavy bleeding could be due to any problems in uterus like fibroid, polyp or increased endometrial thickness.

2) Ultrasound scan required to identify these abnormalities. Please request your gynecologist to request for transvaginal ultrasound scan to identify these abnormalities.

3) If there is no abnormality in uterus there could be hormonal variations which will be tested by your gynecologist.

4) Medicines can be prescribed only after assessing underlying cause.
