Question : HI I wanna know about my co7ghing ,it is already more than a year ,suddenly I cough,with dry throat,or itchy throat,I suck ricola if it occurs my coughing has saliva in it,I am using omeprazole right now 30to60 minutes before breakfast,it's 20mg.how long it takes to use it daily,? My doctor said it's Acid reflux.

Yes, the cough you have due to irritation in the throat could be due to acid reflux and its very common.

Omeprazole is a good choice. Since its a long standing problem it does take more than 2 weeks to show some response. Continue taking Omeprazole. You can opt for a better combination. Omeprazole with levosulpride 25mg. This has better results than Omeprazole alone.
