Nissen fundoplication does not have to give complete relief, however it usually does. So if you feel better than before surgery, most likely nothing more can be done and you will have to live with it. However if the symptoms has not gotten better or you still do not feel comfortable, you should consult your surgeon and have gastroscopy done. It may happen that the surgery was unsuccessful and another one might be necessary.
