Question : I had tmj surgery a couple of days ago now one of the veins on my neck is bursed going down my neck is that normal

There are many veins in the neck. The most superficial and prominent vein in the neck is external jugular vein. It passes very close to TM joint and can get bruised during surgery or tight dressing.
It is normal and hopefully will get settle XXXXXXX in few days.
